The Walk Bridge Welcome Center is a community space devoted to partnering with the SONO and greater Norwalk community about the Walk Bridge Program. Welcome Center visitors are invited to speak one-on-one with Program representatives, experience our virtual reality demonstration, and review program materials highlighting the integrated infrastructure improvement projects encompassed by the Program. Additionally, the Welcome Center is open to local organizations or groups to be used as a meeting space—a large conference room with full A/V capabilities is available. In the wake of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Welcome Center is closed to the general public until further notice.
The Program is happy to host you or your organization for a formal presentation outlining information about project scope, schedules, benefits, design, and construction. Presentations can be tailored based on your interests, including overviews of the CP243 Interlocking, the Danbury Branch Dockyard, the Fort Point Street Bridge Replacement and road realignment, the East Avenue Bridge Replacement and roadway improvements, and the Osborne Avenue bridge replacement. Additionally, the Welcome Center is open to local organizations or groups to be used as a meeting space - a large conference room with full A/V capabilities is available.
